2019 Session of the Georgia General Assembly

The Georgia General Assembly convened on Monday, January 14 for the start of the 2019 session. The legislature will meet for 40 legislative days before adjourning sine die later this Spring.

Judicial Council/AOC staff in the Office of Governmental & Trial Court Liaison will monitor legislation pertinent to the judiciary and share information over the course of the session. The JC/AOC’s legislative tracking website will be updated daily and may be accessed at legislation.georgiacourts.gov and twice-weekly reports will be posted online and distributed to judges.
