District Three
Administrative Judge: Judge Edward D. Lukemire
District Court Administrator: Joe Baden
Circuits: Chattahoochee, Houston, Macon, Southwestern Circuit
The Bibb County Courthouse was renamed after Judge J. Taylor Phillips in January 2013.  Judge Phillips served as judge in Bibb County for 48 years. He died in June 2012.
District Four
Administrative Judge: Chief Judge Gregory A. Adams
District Court Administrator: Cathy McCumber
Circuits: Rockdale, Stone Mountain
On January 1, 2013, Chief Judge Gregory A. Adams assumed the duties as the 4th District Administrative Judge.
Accountability Courts
Rockdale County has received a $101,451 grant from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to implement a Drug Court.  Judge Robert Mumford will preside.
The US Department of Justice recently awarded Rockdale County $337,920 in grant funds to operate a Family Violence Court.  The funds, which cover three years of operation, will allow the superior and state courts in Rockdale to streamline the judicial process and eliminate red tape when perpetrators have multiple charges in multiple courts within the county.
District Nine
Administrative Judge: Judge Brenda S. Weaver
District Court Administrator: Steve Ferrell
Circuits: Appalachian, Bell-Forsyth, Blue Ridge, Enotah, Gwinnett, Mountain, Northeastern
Cherokee County Justice Center
In December 2012, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted to rename Cherokee County Justice Center as the Judge Frank C. Mills III Justice Center.  Judge Mills retired in December from the superior court bench after 32 years of service.
Accountability Courts
Three new accountability courts have begun operation in the 9th District:
Judge Ellen McElyea, Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit, Felony Drug Court
Judge Karen Beyers, Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, Mental Health Court
Judge Stan Gunter, Entoah Judicial Circuit, started a Felony Drug Court in Towns and Union counties.
