New Superior Court District Administrative Judges

The following Superior Court District Administrative Judges have been elected to serve July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014:
Chief Judge Harry Jay Altman, Second District
Judge Edward Lukemire, Third District
Judge James E. Bodiford, Seventh District
Chief Judge Kathy Palmer, Eighth District
Chief Judge Brenda Weaver, Ninth District
Chief Judge J. Carlisle Overstreet, Tenth District
District Six
Administrative Judge: Chief Judge Arch W. McGarity
District Court Administrator: Will Simmons
Circuits: Clayton, Coweta, Griffin, Flint, Towaliga
The Juvenile Court of Clayton County will move in August.   The facility, located adjacent to the Harold R. Banke Justice Center in Jonesboro, cost $15 million to build and will house four courtrooms on the top two of its two floors.  The Youth Development and Justice Center will feature a Youth Policy and Law National Resource Center to train visitors in alternative detention methods; a multipurpose meeting room for community, police, court, school, social services, mental health and child advocates to work with kids and families.
The new address for the Juvenile Court of Clayton County will be:

Jonesboro, GA 30236
Staff moving to the new facility include: Presiding Judge Steven C. Teske, Judge Deitra Burney-Butler, Judge Bobby D. Simmons, Mr. John P. Johnson, III, Director of Juvenile Court Services, and Ms. Robin Austin, Clerk of the Juvenile Court.  Phone numbers are not expected to change.
