Justice MeltonJustice Nahmias

  • Chief Justice Harold D. Melton was sworn in as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia on September 4, 2018. Appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue, Chief Justice Melton became a member of the Supreme Court on July 1, 2005. 
  • Presiding Justice David E. Nahmias was sworn in as Presiding Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia on September 4, 2018. Presiding Justice Nahmias was first elected to the Supreme Court in 2010, and reelected in 2016.
