From the Supreme Court

Because electronic filing has become an essential aspect of the Court's case management system for the effective, timely, and accurate transmission of documents and data received by the Court, the Supreme Court of Georgia has ordered that e-filing is mandatory beginning August 1, 2013.  Unless granted an exception for good cause, all attorneys submitting filings are required to register for and use the Supreme Court Electronic Docket System (SCED).  The Supreme Court e-filing system has been in place since 2010.
