A Day in the Life of Judge Joe Booth

Last November, we spent some time with Judge Joseph Booth of the Piedmont Judicial Circuit Superior Court, who spoke to an audience at the Shepherd Spinal Center about his life before and after his spinal injury. 

 The following is a short video showing a day in the life of Judge Joe Booth as well as his presentation made at the Shepherd Center.

Our top story this month is Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Melton delivering the State of the Judiciary to the Georgia Legislature which happened on February 19.  A Judicial Council meeting also took place on February 15 and is video archived

Cyber Security Tips from JC/AOC Information Security Officer Pete Tyo

Cybersecurity has been an increasing concern for many organizations as they face the possibility of bad actors compromising complex information systems and stealing data, or worse yet encrypting data and demanding money for one’s data to be unlocked. So how do we mitigate the risks our networks face, especially considering nation state actors have an almost unlimited cash flow to try and hack into our networks and most courts have no information technology personnel due to limited funding in budgets?
