Women's History Month

Women’s History Month is celebrated each year in March.  This year, the Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts profiled women judges who have contributed to the state's judiciary throughout the years, from Judge Rufe McCombs, the first elected female judge in Georgia to Judge Leslie Spornberger Jones who serves as the President of the Council of Municipal Court Judges.

The judges profiled during the 31 days of March 2016 are just a sampling of the women in Georgia who have and are currently serving on the bench.
